*As of right now, I'll use this specific page to expand on the lore of Onkara, where most of the stories take place. As it is a fictional character, with fictional races, this is meant to just showcase events and particular milestones in Onkara's history.
The Layers of Onkara
There are three main layers of Onkara that sentient life is known to live on: the Crust, the Outer mantle (semi-solid), the Inner mantle (partially solid). While these are the scientific names of the realms, the denizens and humans that came into contact with Onkara refer to the Crust as 'Ulyria', the Outer mantle as 'Elnara', and the Inner crust as 'Derilia'. While some races thrive in some realms better than the others, dragons are a key component to each realm and keep the ecosystems flourishing. Without the dragons keeping the overall ecosystems of the realms in check, natural disasters occur more often and the chaotic magic that seeps from the core of Onkara can kill or even decimate entire landmasses.
Ulyria
As Ulyria is the crust of Onkara, it has a reasonable balance of ice-water-land. With the land taking up the majority of the space as 55%, ice being 15%, and 30% being made of water, most of the races living on Ulyria either spend their lives on the ground or in the air. Dwarves, Elves, Orcs, and Humans make up the largest populations, followed closely by Vendae, Fae, Werewolves, and Vampires. While there are people of the aquatic race living on this realm, they are generally confined to water or ice areas and don't live in any countries that are landlocked.
